A BATHING APE – 2012 OLYMPICS COLLECTION

Following last month’s look at the London Olympics-themed tees from A Bathing Ape, we now present an overview of the larger capsule collection, featuring fleece shorts with a colorful allover print, a pair of leather Bapestas in a beige colorway with red accents, and accessories including socks and a rubber wristband. The brand’s signature bold prints and patterns make a strong showing here, its usual stable of signifiers, like the Baby Milo character and Ape Head logo appearing alongside the Union Jack. Rolls-Royce 1962 Sliver Cloud II Covered in Swarovski Crystals

The 1962 Rolls-Royce Silver Cloud II model has received a swarovski crystal makeover, and will be auctioned next month for the ”Help in Motion” charity foundation to help drug addicts. After jeweler Edgar M spent 3 years covering the iconic car with millions of finely cut swarovski crystals, the dazzling luxury vehicle was put on display at the Four Seasons Hotel in Munich, Germany earlier this month. Although the price hasn’t been revealed, you can rest assured that the auction will only be attended by individuals with extremely large amounts in their bank accounts. Watch videos and see more pics below.

LEVI’S TRUCKER DENIM JACKETS BY ANDRÉ SARAIVA & SHEPARD FAIREY

There’s a bit of symmetry between last month’s collaborative project for Levi’s Champs Elysees Flagshipwith this month’s edition. The key item once again revolves around the Levi’s Trucker Jacket silhouette, which last time around underwent a reworking courtesy of a French and American DJ/producer/record label founder — namely, Pedro “Busy P” Winter and James Murphy. This latest joint effort finds Levi’scalling on a French-based graffiti artist (Andre Saraiva) along with an American one (Shepard Fairey). The two have designed their own Trucker Jacket styles — one for women and one for men — which are slated to drop June 14th at the Levi’s Champs Elysees Flagship. Both artists are scheduled to appear at the store that night for a special launch event. via: WWD
